The Houston County School Board has examined the proposal for school
bus cameras for months and was ready to vote on the request during
their Tuesday meeting. The proposal was passed unanimously.The plan
right now is to have three cameras along the outside of the bus, which
would take photo and about a two second video of anyone who illegally
passes the school bus.
These cameras will be installed on 20 school buses, and come at no cost to the schools or tax payers.
