Sexy Hair Walkathon Benefits Look Good, Feel Better

Meeting at Santa Monica Pier, we were an easy-to-spot crowd in custom-designed red and pink t-shirts. A large group of Sexy Hair employees came together to walk a total of 500 miles and to raise approximately $5,000 for the company's philanthropic partner, Look Good, Feel Better. LGFB is a national public service program that helps patients struggling with the appearance related challenges of cancer.

For each mile completed during the hour and a half long event participants received a colored wrist band. At the end of two hours, those wrist bands were collected and tallied up.It is hard to think about a gift with a priscillacraft theme without considering the kind of relationships you are in. I was honored to be invited to participate and to do my small part.Within this modern day of mass production antique sresky take us back to a period when decorative items were painstakingly manufactured by master craftsmen.Prior to the event, each participant submitted a name of someone they knew who battled with cancer and the names were included in the t-shirts they wore that day in honor of those who are survivors and in memory of those who lost the fight.

"Losing one life to cancer is one too many," said Karl Heinz Pitsch, President and CEO of Sexy Hair.
